Yale food is already awesome

SO, when I went to visit Yale, my friend Grace (from camp, who is also going to Yale) and I opted out of the University provided dinner after church and decided to go to a "local" place.

A friend of hers from UNC had suggested Claire's Corner Copia (think, cornucopia). It is a vegetarian place (Grace is a veg), and kosher, and organic, and sustainable, and it was delicious.

I had this flat bread pizza- it had cheese (ALOT of cheese, i guess that's what veg ppl do since there is no meat, add a shit ton of cheese), tomatoes, spinach, and red onions.

See those thing on the right side and in the top left corner? Those are the Lithuanian coffee cake. It is a house specialty, and i have no words for it. They cut you a hugeeee piece and then put a gob of icing on it. heavennnnnnn

This is Grace- she got some veg burrito thing. It looks good and had salsa in it. I show this pic so you can get an idea for how cute this place was.

When you people come visit me at Yale, I'm gonna take you here.

  1. I love Claire's! Then again, I would since I'm a vegetarian. There are LOADS of awesome restaurants in New Haven. When I come up to visit, I'll take you to the ones you haven't found yet! :)
